Hey, whatup!? I met married04wrx (John) over at Sub Gwinnett on Tues while I was getting my new cusco zero2r coilovers corner weighted by Scott S. He referred me to the board - and I thought I'd register and see what's up! I have an 04 blue STI, running vishnu exede (tuned by  shiv ), a catted TBE, cusco zero2r struts with 10k/8k springs, cusco front and rear swaybars (22mm/24mm), 18" ssr comps w/ falken 245/35 FK-451, a seibon oem carbon hood, and some jdm rear valences.. John told me that your always getting together to help people work on installs -- I'd really like some assistance clearing my headlights; I guess I'm just worried about putting them in the oven!! I live close to where 92 meets sandy plains rd.. anyone nearby?

hey Matt welcome to the club! i live close to ya.we have a few members on this side of ATL. actually i know of 2 guys that still want to do the headlights on our side of town. ill keep you posted. we also have a install day in the making also. check out the Get 2 gether section of the forum. hey so SOG has the ability to weight balance your car? that has always been my fear of getting coilovers. i didnt want to lower and then be all off balance and handle like crap.

yep SOG has a nice lift and Scott uses scales to make fine adjustments to your ride height... he'll put it up on the scales and check the balance for like $75, then if you need major adjustments, it can't go past $150.. mine was only 20lbs off from left to right, and with one adjustment to the height of the front right, it was under 10... pretty much perfect for me!

I am pretty sure that hood pins are optional, but highly recommended for safety reasons. Pretty much has to do with getting into a front end collision.

yeah, hoodpins = safety... the hood doesn't bounce around or anything, uses the same latch as the stock hood.. your right, there is something about the carbon in person -- sometimes I look at pictures, and I'm like, yep, it's coming off.. but then I walk by the car and it's like dammmmmn that's hot
