Haha, I'm just not a huge fan of chrome wheels. Whatever floats your boat though man.

 

i dont think I have seen any with chrome wheels.
I say go gunmetal or black, but if your digging chrome rock it proud

 

uggg. that chromed wheel sti is terrible..black on black is the secksay!!

 

My eyes are bleeding. Steel Gray looks awesome on black, as does black, of course.

I believe it's just the fact that chrome wheels are often just not as well made. I don't believe the chroming process actually adds much wait.

 

Most chrome wheels are just as well-made as other kinds of rims, it's just that people buying chrome wheels aren't generally performance minded....otherwise they would just be looking for a light wheel that looks pretty good, rather than making flash the priority. That's generally why they're heavier. Also they're mostly huge.

I would avoid chrome on a WRX, but whatever floats your boat man.

 

Tomatoes tomatoes (haha wow that doesn't work when not spoken). By well made I meant that they weren't made with performance in mind and thus weight isn't an issue. To me, this means that they are not well made.

That being said there are nice chrome wheels too (HRE's come to mind)

 

How can you look at yourself in that chrome? :keke: just kidding.

 

The ony chrome that would look okay IMO is Black Chrome...

 

I think some chrome HRE wheels with aggresive off-set would look pretty good on a black STI...
