What do you all think of just the two tone? (not the wing or fuel door)

And what about the grill on this one?

I like the two tone but I dont like the second grill. Do-luck makes a nice carbon fiber skin that goes over the roof panel :eek:hnoes:

I like it also, though I agree, not the fuel door. I would also suggest, not the trunk also, unless you plan on doing a Carbon Fiber hood also.

That would look really sweet. Carbon Fiber Trunk, Roof Cover and Hood, leave the rest white. You wouldn't even need to do any of the pillars. Would be very unique.

I don't mind :) I'm not going to do the carbon fiber though... I work with it everyday of the week, and after seeing 'professional' work, all of the aftermarket stuff is just horrible.

Anyone have any connections to a good painter? And how much do you think it would cost?

I think it looks awesome. But it definitely needs enough black elsewhere to support it. (mainly black wheels)

I'm thinking about swapping my golds for silvers and then powdercoating them gunmetal or black

Smart as the golds fetch a slightly higher tag.

:wiggle: I plan on swapping the golds and hopefully getting enough to pay for the powder coating :eek:hnoes: Although... I'm going to have to find something to drive on while its being done...

If this all works out (Rotas and Zigen trade-off), I may have a set of wheels you could borrow for a few...

If this was Japanland I think you could get away with it; since it is not, I think more modest styling cues are in order.

i think that the only way to do 2-tone right, would be to paint from the door handles - up (the darker color). i don't think it get's the whole effect just painting the roof and pillars.

i saw one a while back and that's the classic hotrod way to do it... but i can't find the pic now.
it would be barker from the door handles up, including the hood.

reminds me of how the eclipse and talon used to be....one painted and one blacked out up top. Not my thing, but if you like it go with it!

That wagon is a bit much since everythign else on it is stock. I'd do a two-tone on my wagon but only after a front lip, STI HIDs, 18s, CF Hood and hatch (if only someone made one)
