ok guys, the tires are SHOT 70k+ miles on the BFG KDWs. so at the very least its time for a new set, obviously im gonna be going wider. currently im running 225/40/18's on some cheap MB (discount tire brand) 18x8's. im thinking of just keeping the wheels probly powdercoating them black and going with some 245's or 255's if i can fit them (will consider rolling the fenders). so my question is, should i do this? or find some 17x9's and get 255's?

    current setup:

Wheels look decent...powdercoat 'em and get painted side skirts...your car will look 10x better IMO. You can prob go 245 or 255 35's w/o rolling your lip. I had 235 40 18 and pretty low w/o having to roll.

EDIT: oh wait! Maybe you can't go 255 with 18x8's

rota grids always look sick, but if u powder coat your current rims it will save you money instead of buying another set. Running 255 tires might look a little more aggresive but I'd stick with 245's for better handling (on the MB's). But i believe you could fit 255's without rolling your fenders and i'm sure you'll like the looks for that setup, IMO.

But if you have $$$ for another set, i switch to different wheels.

would those fit with no mods to fenders?

cant just get 4, need 5, one for spare.
