I bought painted side skirts on ebay for around $180.00 shipped I've hade them for 3 mounths no chips scrathes or problems. They seem to hold up just fine as long as you dont step on them.

i went by the body shop... he said if we get at least 5 people, the price would be between $125 and $200 depending on the color... he saw mine and said the black could be done for $125... most probably the yellow and white could also be done for 125 but red and silver would probably be 200... then again, he needs to see the paint to finalize

The color blue here if you need a color rollcall and hadn't guessed.

Would this be a case of us taking them off and dropping them off at the shop? I haven't checked but I wouldn't think it would be difficult.

Also I'd like someone who knows what they are doing check it out and see if they could get all the scratches out of my car. I let an old guy detail it at work and it looks like he used steal wool on it when the sun is bright. :-\ Maybe they would have ideas.

I have painted stockers... Had Classic Colission sand them down and paint them, and it looks fine. Perfect match, no chips yet and it's been a year. You guys will be very pleased that you did this.

Gwinnett Collision is supposed to be very good, I may go by there and see what they will/can do if we get a group to go there, just for a price comparison...

because they had already mixed my paint for the other body parts under the insurance they said they would sand it and paint it for $100. They were good to the word with $100, only because it took them so long to fix my car after the wreck they were really nice about it and did it for free. So $100 - $125 could be it.

Thanks milo for finding this thread again. I searched for it, but searched "sideskirts" and not "side skirts."

Anyways, who is still up for this?

I bought painted sideskirts from Lisa at SOG and the price was great. The best part of OE sideskirts is the rubber gasket that matches the color and it is durable beyond what paint can do.

I'm calling Lisa to see if she is down with a GB.

This is actually a better price by about $60 than I was quoted for actually painting the exisiting side skirts. Plus, this would allow you to sell your side skirts and recoup some of the cost. I am down. Please put me on the list for a set of Aspen Whites....how soon will we do this and how many do we need to have to get the group buy price?

In the past (pre-Obsidian Black Pearl), I believe only white, silver and blue were available for painted side skirts from SOA. [IMG]
