Painting wheels

    Since my stockers are off I was thinkin bout painting them bronze or black What colors would I need to make them bronze.

    Oh I thought I had to mix colors to get that color.

    It's a good idea to sand them if you want the paint to stay. If so, I would recommend a whole weekend of sanding, then using a primer, your color paint, and a sealer. Otherwise, it will only last a month or so.

    Not completely sure, my friend had done it to his stock Protege wheels.

    I couldnt find bronze paint just bronze coating.

    I painted my car over the weekend, it was fun. I am going to paint mere's new set of wheels pink also.

    Looks very good. How did you paint them, did you sand them down and put primer on them or did you just spray paint them? Is there a more solid spray paint that doesn't get off?

    Ok, that is what I was hoping. I knew the new wheels were turning out to be a little to big and was wondering why he would ruin his chance to possibly return them. Couldn't tell from the pics.

    He bought the wheels from me and unfortunately, there's a no return policy. Anyhoo, I like how you kept the center piece silver, it looks great with the silver lugs!

    nope just wiped them clean and sprayed them a couple of coats It actually was A rush job. I used the dupicolor gloss black.
