Does a lightened crank pulley and flywheel affect a tune? Meaning, should you get retuned after installing the parts to maximize the power. I wasn't sure how ligtening things up may or may not affect a tune. Thanks.

I installed a CP and didnt see the need for a retune, car runs fine, just a little smoother idle.

Well I was trying to plan a tune, but I could wait until after I install the parts. If it doesn't affect the tune at all then it doesn't matter when I get tuned.

I wouldn't worry about the CP changing things, the flywheel, I'd be tempted to tell you to put in before your tune.

If you're mildly modded the flywheel won't be that big of a deal, otherwise I'd install first for sure.

Those peices do not affect tune on the cable cars.

The fly by wire cars...aka 04+ STi, 06+ WRX....doing both light flywheel and crank pullys will have the ECU going nuts throwing missfire codes unless its 'tuned out' or similar. Do one or the other, but not both unless you dont care about CELs and not having the cruise control working.
