Well here we go. As most of you already know, I am the new owner of Patrick's wrx. I sold my 04 sti in favor of paying off debt, and getting ready to buy a house. I do miss the sti, and it's raw power. However I'm loving the bugeye and haven't looked back.

    Mod List -

    vf39 and sti topmount
    06 wrx injectors (560cc)
    Gutted Factory Up-pipe
    Random Tech bellmouth Down-pipe
    Random Tech catted mid-pipe
    Helix catback
    Green air filter
    Air box silencer delete
    ECUteK protuned
    STI motormounts
    04 STI 6-speed tranny
    Surtrac front LSD
    Manual DCCD (center diff) controller
    Kartboy shifter bushings
17x7 Legacy GT wheels with Kumho 225/45R17
    17x8 work emotion cr-kai.
    Tein Flex's
Whiteline front adjustable sway bar (24-26 mm)
    Whiteline Front endlinks
Ingalls Camber bolts (front) -2.7 degrees of camber
Whiteline Rear adjustable sway bar (22-24-26 mm)
Whiteline Heavy Duty sway bar mount
    Kartboy Rear end links
    Whiteline adjustable Lateral links

I have added window tint, ordered some gauges (boost, oil temp, oil pressure). Also got some dents on the trunk and quarter panel fixed. Plans are...not much for now. Maybe a set of wheels. Going to clear/paint the headlights, debadge the grill, and put my stereo in. I'm focusing on getting in a house and all that jazz, and i have a 78 trans am that I'm working on.

    Now some pics!!

Please dont touch a thing on that car, its set up perfectly for track use and daily driving. Those wheels look great on that color too. You got a the deal of a century.

this car is sexy as crap! If you decide to sell those wheels, I will take them! I am looking for a set, but everyone who has them are damaged in some way.

how does the suspension ride? I'm moving to Gwinnett this weekend. Can I get a ride?

Negative. Needs Spec C control arms, whiteline offset bushings (hard type) and 2.5 shortblock.

THEN its 'done' for the above stated purposes. :naughty:

Negative on the 2.5. 2.0 FTW. If you were still around I'd let you drive mine, it really is the motor that belongs in a WRX.

Negative. I've drive both Type RA versions of the EJ207 (AVCS and non AVCS, one from a version 6 Type RA, the other from a Version 7 Spec C Type RA). While they are nice and rev to 8000 easily, they dont have the earth shattering TQ of the 2.5. The 2.5 with a good set of cams (either stock STi or what not) will destroy the 2.0 any day.

Great car I have very similar set up and goals i.e. 6sp or 5sp RA(budget) and full susp. I love those damn legacy wheels on that car, the new one's are clean too but those legacy wheels were bad ass!

I bet if you ran the legacy wheels you would have trapped higher!

Which map were you using? What bias was the DCCD set?

The works are actually lighter than the legacy wheels. And i didn't make any changes, ran the daily map, and i never touch the dccd.

man, why didn't you at least lock the DCCD to 50/50 and switch the map?

^^ because that changes the alignment and more importantly messes up the corner balancing.

^ Yep I would like to go lower, but don't want to affect the handling. Oh well, the new setup should fill in nicely. :naughty:
