So im driving down the road listening to the radio and I hit the tune button and the reciever starts to scan the entire FM Band until stopping on 91.1 and not letting me change the station. I hold down the source button and turn the unit off. Once I turn it back on, none of the buttons will work an the only words displayed on the screen are "REAR" at the very top of the HU screen. I can load a disk an it will spin, but nothing plays. I have held down every button for atleast ten seconds each. I cant seem to find a reset button and the manual is not helpful. I have disconnected my battery and disconnected all plugs from the HU and nothing will reset it. I am going crazy with no music.
call Pioneer and they should be able to tell you how to reset the unit. I think it is kind of like the ipod you push and hold a couple of buttons. let us know what you come up with please!
Well I tried everything then just smacked it a few good times and it decided to work again. Brute force solves all. Thanks for the help guys
