So, I'm in the market for a pair of Puma shoes...I'm sure they are comfortable, as they are so popular again...my question is this...How do they run? Are their sizes on par with other sneaker companies (ie. New Balance)?

Also, where is a place to get them at a decent price? I found a particular shoe I like, just want to get the best price! ;)

    Thanks!

I tried on a pair yesterday and they seem to run small. I would suggest you go to the walking store at towne center and try on some merrels!

what's your shoe size? as small as your dick? :p

I have some speedcats in 10s you can try on and see how they feel. Usually I weat 9.5 to 10 addidas running shoes so they are pretty much same, but I'd go .5 larger if you're buying the tight fitting shoes.

I run 11-11.5 and i am a 12 in pumas. They are great for fast driving. Try them on in the store and get them online and save between 15-60$ depending on the shoe.

I am looking at the Speedcat SD US. I wear a size 11 in Adidas, and a 10.5 in New Balance.

So, I would probably go with a 11...I have a color I like, just have to find them!

As a former shoe whore/Assistant Mgr of Finishline, lol.....

Seriously, they are very narrow. You may need to go a 1/2 size up due to the lack of width.

No speedcats at the Puma store in Dawsonville. I went today looking for a pair.

I had to go down a size when I got speedcats. If I got a 13 they seemed to stretch out and get too big. I wear a 12 in speedcats.

My feet and I completely do not get along with any sort of 'driving' shoes...for some reason they just dont do it for me.

I imagine if I changed the pedal configuration they'd be great.

Pumas are not comfortable at all for me. They are a great driving shoe, but as far as walking they suck.

+1 Nice selection...some times hit or miss on the season/styles. And like all of have said, they run small. I love my future cats. Super comfortable shoes for everyday and I drove a few autox's in them and they performed well. Go to Dawsonville and stock up. :naughty:

I have mine in black and pink

Finishline at Northpoint Mall had some good deals. I got Italian Flag pumas for only $40. Pumas are all I wear anymore, they are fantastic for driving. I wear them at work too.

Strengthen the soles of your feet by walking on hot coals, you won't ever need shoes again!

If you are only using these only occasionally, shoes will be ok even if a the size isn't perfect. But if you are going to be in shoes all day, then they need to fit better. Poor shoe fit can cause foot, ankle, knee or even hip and back problems, especially if you work/walk on hard surfaces a lot.

My problem with shoes like pumas in the past has been their lack of support in the heel and arch. Does Puma have any shoes now with decent heel/arch support?

I love puma shoes. They feel the most comfortable to me which is why they have been the ONLY shoe (other than slippers) that I have bought in the past 7 or 8 years. After I started driving more and more, I switched to the shoes they put out with less heel and arc.
