I got the Perrin hoses, and while install was still a b*tch (god I hate intercoolers) it's on now. Doesn't hit like a hammer, which the FMIC did, but the car feels like it pulls a little more up top. It should help out when I get Protuned too.

Weirdest damn thing happened too... I had been looking all over for the driver side TMIC bracket which I took off a while ago, and couldn't find it. Scott hooked me up with a replacement (appreciate it!), and when I got home today the freaking thing was sitting exactly where I thought I had left it... and I KNOW I checked there, because I knew I left the damn thing there... damn gremlins :eek:hnoes:

So if anybody needs one, I now have two.

Sorry, let me clarify that... it pulls more than a stock TMIC. FMIC was definitely nicer, but it hit hard instead of building up smoothly.

im sorry... red dawn has killed my brain... let me rephrase

i would think the perrin TMIC would hit harder than the FMIC but the FMIC would pull harder up top... is that what u r sayin?

    No...

    Perrin: spools quicker and smoother.

FMIC: spools later and just hits real hard when it does.

Go for a ride in Kris' car and you'll see what I mean.

I'm with Kris... front mount will be most beneficial when you make good power.
