I have one of those little espresso kettle things that you heat up on the stove and it boils the water through and end up with a good cup of espresso.

Question is.... what type of grind should I use?

    Cheers

    harrys farmers market
process their own beans fresh every few days

    Expresso or french roast
(personally - I prefer the organics)

I'm getting some fresh stuff from my friend who works at Jittery Joes up here in Athens. They get it fresh as hell as I think one of the people who makes the shit is up here. But aren't there different types of grind to look out for? Or just regular ground espresso stuff?

Tell them you want it ground for a french press ... the "little espresso kettle things" you are referring to. ;)

I believe that is a percolator, otherwise known as a cowboy coffee maker.

If you are making espresso the grind is extremely fine.
If you are making coffee in a drop coffee machine (standard machine) you want it medium.
If you are using a french press or above you want it ground lightly.

Mmmm I love percolators. They make that coffee so smooth. I want one, or two, or three.

Tried it out today with the local roasted jittery joes espresso and damn it was good! Even my coffee snob friends thought it was brilliant.

Excellent! I need to check out the Jittery Joes cofee...beyond the fact that they have a pro cycling team, I hear their coffee is pretty rocking.

I'd like to add my recommendation for Jittery Joe's. Had a lovely cup this morning, as usual. Called 'Morning Ride'.

Didn't they just open up a location in GSU?

They make all their beans and shit in Athens so it's pretty cool to be drinking local stuff. I think Caribou sources some of the same stuff.

On a side note, a friend of mine called it a Moka? And said it wasn't a percolator, was he just being a dumb fuck, which I truly hope he is... the pretentious bastard!

I'll have to try Jittery Joes since I've become addicted to coffee this semester.
