    Well, for starters...his wheels are 5 X 100 and MY06 are 5 X 114.3

What color are his wheels and does he want to sell them?

He is trading 04 STi wheels (5x100) for 06 WRX wheels (5x100)

However, I dont believe the WRX wheels will clear the brembos...

its cool but yea it would have been with my wrx wheels but since they dont clear then i guess we wont be doing a straight trade. with that being said whats the widest i can go on my wheels with stock ride height?

I've heard you can fit 245s under a wrx without too much rubbing.

If you meant diameter, i wouldn't go bigger than 18s.

Ah ok. I think Wil managed a 245....but 225 would be best for everyday driving.

If you are staying on the stock 17x7 wheels, I wouldnt recommend going more than a 225width. And even that is probably pushing it. If you do go 225, make sure it has a stiff sidewall since you are running it on such a "narrow" wheel

I've got a 215 on my rims right now and i don't think its even close to causing any sort of an issue...just make sure you get the right aspect ratio. i.e. 205/50, 215/45, 225/40 so that your tires don't resemble balloons. :)
