I spotted this rally replica on Ft Stewart this morning. It was a overcast and rainy but then our cars are right at home in that weather. :D

Yeah I will. I just didn't today cause he wasn't around and it would've gotten all wet from the rain.

Yeah it's a bugeye. This guy has definitely put a lot of attention to detail into this car. I guess that's typical of soldiers though. I'm curious about the engine.

Bro I don't know about never ending, but yeah we do love our toys. :)

Especially after a big deployment where virtually everybody has 10 to 20 grand saved up from not spending a whole years salary.

Right well, I found out that he's brand new to Ft Stewart so maybe more people will see him around eventually. I gave him a card so maybe he'll sign on.

Did that have the Widebody kit, or just the stickers. I just found the entire sticker set the other day. The sticker kit included every sticker that is on the real WRC Car, and was close to $1000. I would love to get that, but not until I get the Widebody kit in a few years.

Yeah, that was not a misprint. I will try to find the site today, forget where it was, but it was the large Subaru sticker along the side. The roll call sheet for the back C Pillar(?), the Motul stickers for front bumper and everything else.

i saw a post on nasioc last week for the wrc front bumpter and front fenders. he was selling the used bumper for $1500 and the unpainted fenders for $600. that was before shipping.

    i had heard that a wrc clone wasn't cheap...guess that's the proof.

There was a WRX in Harrisburg that did all the stickers. It had the Stock Wheels, and no other mods done to the car, including the standard WRX boot Spoiler and looked absolutely retarded.

I have priced out the WRC Widebody kit from Burn-Up. It comes to close to $4000, not including shipping from Japan, and all the finishing work that needs to be done before it can be painted.

Also, not including the True WRC spoiler with the vertical slates, or the roof camera/GPS receiver mount, or WRC hood.

I think for everything, with all work done, I would be looking at about $12000, which is why I keep saying that my WRC Replica will be done in a couple years.

Next pieces for the WRC Replica will be the Roof mounted camera/GPS mount when I do the Car PC in the next few months, then the WRC hood.

Replace the hood. I don't think the Drop in Vent looks right. I would like to find the Carbon Fiber WRC hood that has the scoop molded in so it all looks like one piece. Haven't found that yet, but I know it is out there somewhere. They have it on the SCCA Subaru Rally Car.

Your car looks awesome. I was refering to a car similar in PA that had the rally stickers on a otherwise unmodded car. It looked completely rediculous with the stock wrx wheels, ride height and everything else. It requires some modification for the stickers to look good, and on your car they do.

So, is your roof scoop functional? I put the Primitive racing scoop on my old 02 wrx, but did not have the internal vent. This time, I did the vent, but left the scoop off. If I ever save the money for the widebody kit, I may get a scoop again.

Next is the Rally Monitor system that I plan to purchase sometime in the near future. I will need that for when I do the car pc in the next few months. It will hold the GPS receiver, and hopefully will have enough room for a bullet cam.

If you want the Spec C Roof vent like what I have they have them on Japanparts.com and on rallispec.com. I would suggest the one on rallispec so you don't have to pay international shipping. Should be about $400.

I saw the DIY writeups for installation and it looked easy enough, but I was still a little scared to cut into the roof myself so I called a Sunroof place around ATL. The guy came out to my apartment, looked at everything for about 20 minutes, the got ready to start. Once he drilled the first pilot hole, it took about 45 minutes and was done. After watching him do it, I would do it my self next time. Was really easy. Cost me $125 for him to do it though, so no big deal.

    http://www.rallispec.com/

I did the Roof Scoop on my 02 just using 3M tape, non functional, and driving home from HIN in Philly, not going more than 80 mph, my friend and I hear a loud noise and I said, Oh Shit, there goes the roof scoop. Stop up the road, and it was still there, just a little loose. So we wrestled with it for about 30 minutes trying to get the thing off which was a PITA. Even though it was loose and was flapping again the car from the wind, it was so hard to get it off the rest of the way
