I'm going to be getting some in the rear deck in the next month or so. I need to find an installer that's interested in doing the work though.

I am hoping that an installer could drop in the speakers and fabricate accoustically invisible speaker screens.

Not rear deck but a friend of mine took out his clock bezel in the dash and made a speaker in it.

this would be a very simple install, if you look up under the rear deck the holes are already there. Gutting the rear interior is a piece of cake, and you would probably just have to cut in the rear cover and place a grill on it. I can't find a picture for ya though.

If you open your trunk, as Brian said, there are already the holes for it. It seems lke you'd drop in the speaker (after making a whole in the rear deck carpeting), wiring it in and be good to go.

Or just rip the carpet up and you could probably lay it back over the speaker grill. I have thought about this too. It is right over where my amps sit and would be uper easy to wire up.

Mm hmm. It's actually pretty easy to take the back deck out if you just feel like you need to do that for proper fitment or alignment. Gotta take the back seat out.... but after you do that it's just a matter of popping it out. You do have to wiggle it a little though. Probably useless info, but if not then cool.

    Good luck! :bigthumb:
