I have an interest in wanting to ditch the STi blue in my 2004 STi and trade with a local guy that has a 2004 wrx wagon. We plan on trading carpet, front seats, rear seats, door cards. Im sure everything will change over easy enough.....my question is......are the rear seats any different from a sedan to a wagon????
yes, the seats are different. The rear seats in a wagon fold down and yours do not. Some have a pass through, some don't. I can't remember if the 04 STi has that pass through. These rear seats will work with your car: http://wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29648

04 STi vs 04 WRX everything will swap. 05~07 STi vs 05~07 WRX everything else will swap. 07 STi got the rear seat passthru. 04~06 does not.
