Have you thought about turning down the volume?

all you need to do is squeeze the mirror in and put a little piece of paper or a piece of cork or something between the mirror and the frame of the mirror.

more than just a piece. turn up the radio and then hold a corner of the mirror. then squeeze it. when the rattle stops, shove a thick piece in there. i took a buisness card, folded it in half twice or three times and then shoved it in there.(ripped to fit just inside the lip) i need to do both corners. only did one. my 15" sub rattles the crap out everything. next on my list is the rear deck. but, i promise, when you pintch the mirror in, you'll see how far it needs to go. almost the thickness of 2 pennies.

or you could give up on car audio and just listen to your engine\exhaust etc
