Recommend seats?

    I feel like I've worn out the stuffing in mine. I need a seat with more cruiser comfort (1hr 1-way commute), not just a racing seat. Any suggestions?



    also, do STI seats have that same 'side of seat' airbags as the wrx and are they interchangeable in function(like plug into the airbag sensor the same)?

    USDM STi seats will have side airbags and are interchangeable.

    I love my STi seats more than my old 2004 seats. They are a little wider but offer me more comfort. For each person each seat will be different. The bugeye seats are snug and comfty but they tend to wear out and rip at the bolsters much quicker due to the type of material it uses.

    well, the stuff in my 04 seats wore out in around 20~30k miles. Is the 03 stuffing the same?

    Warranty! If you have bumper to bumper new car left (3year/36k miles).

    Otherwise, the 02~03 seats are vastly different from 04. 05 is similar to 04, but still different.

    I have 75k on my bugeye seats and they are just starting to show wear on the driver side bolster. as in they are just slightly mis-colored.

    pretty good, I need my 90k maintenance. so I've not been thrashing it or anything.


    so everyone else is pretty much saying all the seats were different from my crummy 04? Yay for lots of choices. :)

    I see.

    I dislike the 04~07 seats. Especially the STi.

    EVO 8 or 02~03 WRX seats are FTFW.

    No. Resistors FTW. But my outback doesnt have side air bags that need fooling.

    im not sure if the evo seats will hook up to your stock airbag sensors

    120k now on my 03 seats and they are still nice and comfy.
