red 08 in Orlando

    I'm in orlando for the pri show and I saw a red 08 sti in the doubletree parking lot with a Cherokee tag. Anybody on here?

    Cherokee? Isn't Doug in Alpharetta? Cherokee is way below Doug. It can't be him.....I'd bet Doug would drive the GT2 instead of the STi.

    shop is in Alpharetta, but the car could be registered to his house, which may or may not be in Cherokee

    I'm pretty sure Dougs house is not in Cherokee.

    Then WTF was I looking at? Google has Cherokee in the Macon area. Wait....Cherokee county vs Cherokee city....DUH!

    Yes, Ga does their plating system based off the county you live in, not the city. :)

    Here in SC (that I know of) if there there is a city and a county with the same name, they typically are in the same place together so that threw me for a loop! We don't do county plating here :)

    It'd certainly make sense to do it that way, but with 159 counties, we like to make it as confusing as possible.
