Has anyone seen leaks of an STi redesign anywhere? I was sitting here thinking of how there are chages every 2 years. I wonder what the 2010-2011 model will look like. Anyone?
nope. been wondering that myself. probly wont change TOOOO much. im sure they will keep the same chassis for a while like they did 02-07. so it will probly still be a hatch
Don't expect anything radical. Maybe a nose change and some interior changes. Probably some engine tweaks to give more power. I do think that SoJ(Subaru of Japan) has stated they don't have plans for a STI sedan of this generation. We will see what the future brings.
in this market? if they were smart they would be spending that money on the ECU instead of picking out a new shade of lipstick to put on it.
Smartest thing Subaru can do is leave the facelifts alone and just make the current car better. Facelifts are expensive and this just isn't the economy for it.

Looks very Audi-ish. The front grill and the vents around the Driving Lights. I think it is trying to hard to be an Audi.
Speaking of which, what the hell were they thinking with the new TL design? That car used to look so good, but the new design is just hideous.
that was the 'concept' just before the 08 was released. IIRC, it was some random dude on a forum that created that car, NOT FHI or SUBARU. Personally, I think that looks hot, and Subaru should look into something like that.

BUT WAIT?!?! 6speed is optional on the 2.5i and is STANDARD on the 2.5GT and 3.6R get a 5spd automatic only. :banana:
Given the '06 STi design, I don't call that a cpoy... I think they have enough of their own look to be unique. I still don't like it though! hahaha... But for me, I don't give a flying fuck what it looks like. I just want it to haul ass. For the first time I'm considering getting a new STi and I'm anxiously awaiting the '10s. I've seen enough of the '08-9 that I accept them, but I know subaru and I know the '10 is going to be so much different I won't buy anything until I see it.
I am torn, there are parts of this new design that I like, but the current legacy design is my favorite...especially the wagons. I don't see much room here for an Outback version...it looks like a city car...whereas the current legacy can go both ways, especially if it is an out back. Subaru wants to sell cars, and one way to do that is make them look like what people are buying...
I totally agree with you.WTF?! The legacy looks kinda cool but then it kinda looks like a camry too; which is the furthest thing from cool.
