I looked and thought i had the right tools but the bottom nut is so deep in its almost impossible for me to reach, what should i use to get them undone? also, how the hell do i remove the light, i see where the connector is but cant figure out how it works. looked all over nasioc and google and couldnt find anything. maybe because is so easy to do or i suck at searching.
    thanks in advance

    extention time yo!

The light I believe should have two nuts to take off and then should pop out. Get you an extention for your socket and you'll be able to reach it ;)
Good luck man...I would have some good wax ready too :)

its super easy to take off. but then you have 4 holes the size of quarters in your trunk lid

They're called 'speed holes'...Homer Simpson had them in his mafia sports car and they added about 15whp each

there is a quick release tab on the wire for the 3rd brake light to take off. push the left over wire back in to the trunk and you are good to go. :)

a extension won't work, you'll need a 10mm deep socket since the bolts are too long for normal sockets to go all the way down to the nut.
