Ive had this problem ever since i lost my garage.. leaves fall and get into the wiper holes, and ive been really good about getting them out, but some just like to get really deep into the wells. Ive used all types of things; pliers, forceps, sticks, very small rocks... but i still cant get all the way down.. maybe on the install day someone can show me a way to remove the leaves.

Air comp is good but you risk pushing the smaller debris into the crevices and when its wet and later youll get a smell in your cabin air.

Use a piece of tyvex (home depot, lowes, etc,....) cut to cover the vent and a few extra tangs to use your wiper to hold it down . You can easily roll it up and place it in a zip lock when not in use.
