We had some fun times together... you just were on your last leg and got alittle hot at talladega. Rest in peace my friends... or just the one that corded really bad. The other three have one more trackday or two more autoxs left in them. I'll give them away for the low low low price of free... however I have no idea what somebody would do with three beat up victoracers. The size is 255-40-17.

    Coming soon Toyo RA-1s :)

You should come out next time. What we'll do to get you on is rent a car trailer. We'll just trailer my car in, that way we can still have 10 cars on the track and you can come join us :)

...or just ride with someone there (but that isnt as fun is it?)

RA-1's FTW! That's what I'm planning on for the track after the RE070's wear out.

why buy new RA-1s when you could buy my used ones (255/40/17)? I've even shaved em for ya?

because we decided that 235/40-17 would be better for the stock 17x8 wheels, and full tread is fine for autocross.

step one: loosen EVERY suspension bolt
step two: get leverage on the strut assembly (use wratchet staps too
    step three: tighten down

I believe Tom Hoppe got -1.8 on Miranda's first STI

that number gets bigger everytime I see it.. first it was -1.5, and then -1.7, and finally -1.8.... why can't it just get an effortless -1.9 like my stock evo.

I think it would be hard to brake anything; all your doing is loosening a few of the suspension bolts and then moving things ~1mm or as much slack is present and then tightening them down.

I've yet to run it clockwise, we were going to run it clockwise at the end of the day at the last event, but never got around to it.

clockwise isn't more difficult really but it is a little slower and different things are going on. I think it is a little more intimidating however I find it just as safe, I've talked with folks that think it is safer than counter clockwise and vice versa but I disagree with both party's each direction has good run off, etc.

It is a little more intimidating because you can carry more speed through the kink (and you approach it a little faster) and when you enter the skid pad from the front strait, you can pretty much not brake until you turn onto the skid pad. This, is hair raising becuase you enter the skid pad at ~100mph and their are a number of edges in teh concrete there that can unsettle the car. So you threshhold braking, but can't use full pedal pressure and the course is turning which makes you want to turn the car....

In any event, going both ways is good because of the different lines and such that you can experiance on both....

BUMP this is last chance if somebody out there wants these tires (for free) otherwise I just going to have GT discard them for me. I'm getting my tires changed out tomorrow so speak up now if you want them.
