Roof vinyl

    What do you guys think of the roof vinyl rap? Was thinking bout doing mine

    depends on the color of the car, blue? mehhhhh...

    white, yes

    silver, no

    black, why?

    Mines is WRB and I wanted to do black on the roof. iv seen other blue cars with and I like it. not sure how to clean it. can you wax it?

    I would try plasti-dipping it. Application seems easier and it is much cheaper.

    Jonathan's car is silver with the Carbon fiber vinyl, it doesnt look bad at all

    My car is silver with matte black wrap on the roof and I think it's awesome. It was a pain in the ass with the rails, though.

    For a while I rocked a black plasti dipped roof (well a whole car too), it was surprisingly easy to do, though heads up, mask out all the vinyl rails/seals. Especially if you are one who uses silicon/vinyl detailer/protectant on it, the dip will not fully cure on it, and when you go to rip it off it comes off in little tiny inch long bits

    At some point I'll have the BRZ roof done like I had on the TL...

    adds time but drop the headliner and remove the rails before wrap or paint. do it right, it's not a half ass honduh

    That's why wrapping my roof was a PITA. Made it easier in the long run, but ugh.

    doesn't look bad, but not as good as it does on white. sorry i guess Sunny's car just ruined carbon on silver for me, lol

    i vinyl wrapped my roof (sedan), and i didnt have to drop the headliner to remove rails or anything. but it wasnt that bad at all.. 2 guys and 45 minutes and it was all buttoned up. ive since vinyl wrapped some more stuff for the funsies. if you want i can give you a hand with it. ive got a couple of the Squeegees youll need aswell as the cleaner prior to vinyling. i can post some pics if youd like

    I'm getting my roof done in the next couple of weeks at Miller Decals. white 08 wagon with black carbon top? thoughts?
