what are the main pros and cons of replacing oem seats with racing seats. Any major safety issues as you would lose the side airbags? Comfort ratings....etc. Suggestions for brand name.
There was a write up about your question in the Dec issue of Subiesport Magazine. It has the pros and cons and how they did a seat swap in there project car. :wiggle:
Pros: Lightweight, Improved comfort (w/in reason), Snugness. Cons: Loss of life-saving side airbags, cost more than you can sell your stock seats for.
I have a fixed back MOMO race seat that I'd like to be able to install and remove with ease, so that when I do an autoX or track day, I can just bolt it in. Are there any mounting options that will work the stock seat and an aftermarket seat? I also have the Sparco rails
