Seatbelt Warranty???

    My 98 Outback's driver seat belt is badly frayed, especially where the main clasp rubs.
    I have heard that seatbelts have a limited lifetime warranty from Subaru. Any truth to this? Can I just take my car in and have the belt replaced at no cost to me?

    Best to call a dealership on this, I was under the impression that it was lifetime

    I've heard the same thing. When I get time I'll be calling SOK and asking them about this. I'll post what they say.....My 97 LGT has the same problem
