Sensor help

    Not sure if this is the right section to put this in. But can someone tell me what sensor this is? It's hanging right behind the oil filter. Looks like it came off the hinge and the other end got ripped off, so I want to replace it. Thanks

    pictures of the wires? can you trace it back to a connector or the sensor itself? try post pics of that

    Is that where the front o2 sensor plugs in?

    That's what I was thinking cause I wasn't 100% sure since I read online the o2 sensor was somewhere else? I'll try to get better pictures tomorrow.

    Have you always owned the car? Could be a sensor for gauge (oil temp, pyrometer).

    Yeah, looks like the wires for the oil temp connector of the factory 3 gauge setup. Is the wire loom double sided taped onto the crossmember?

    No, I havent always owned the car. And I think you're both right, since I did notice my oil temp gauge spike and bounce back and forth today. I think thats pretty much explains it. More investigation this weekend. Thanks guys.
