I just picked up one of those resin shift knobs on ebay from Monsterknobs. I'm inordinately excited about it. Didn't someone else on the forum buy one of these? Or something similar? And what did you think?

EDIT: Ok this is it on the car. What do you guys think? I quite like the looks, though I'm not totally sold on how it feels yet. I'm still after one of those Subaru/Momo knobs if anyone has one.

Blindfold and I collect shift knobs and this one is extremely similar to my lathewerks from the looks of it. Wont be able to compare until you get yours. Mine is made out of a different plastic though.

I remember a thread about that knob. I'm trying to start a collection as well. Next I want one of those STi piston knobs. And then maybe a Momo.

I was not a huge fan of the piston knob, I found it the equivalent of shifting your car with a beer bottle.

Just got it in the mail this evening. I installed it and went for a drive. It's nice. A lot less cumbersome than the stock knob, and it actually shortens the shifter by what seems to be about a half inch.

Hopefully I'll have some pictures up soon.

there are several shift knob producing companies, my personal favorite is Chris M. of LatheWerks. I can setup a group buy if anyone is really looking to get something new for their car.

I'm always up for shift knobs. Lemme know. Yours looked pretty great.

This one didn't end up being all that I hoped...but it was like 20 shipped, so no biggie.

I got one of those momo ones for a great price though and I like it.

The WC Lathe Werks knobs range from 60 to 90 or so.
