I was just wondering how hard of a mod this will be to do. And also does it do a lot or will I just be able to hear my car more?
The only thing it's good for is noise. You'll hear more with it deleted. It is easy to do, just need to get into the passenger side fender well and pull it out from there.
Yeah, but I think I would say fairly easy. Be prepared to really get your hands up into the fender to get that silencer out because there's this one bolt that is a beotch! Unless you have a lift.
If its not in the DIY on this site, go to ClubWRX or scoobymods. I know that those sites have it. Its not too bad, minus getting the snorkus out. You have to remove the fender lining after you jack the passenger side up and remove the wheel.
FWIW, I didn't jack the car up or remove the wheel. It's a 5 minute job if you pop the right plastic pieces out.
The Snorkus Removal is extremely easy. Like said above, there is one bolt that can be kinda tricky to get to, but overall this shoudl take anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour to do. Also, like said above, you really won't gain anything except for the sound of the Turbo.
