They decided to order a power steering pump. No idea if they found anything or not. Maybe KingWRX can elaborate?
pump pressures tested ok and the hum/whine noise that you get when you turn full lock happened all of the time turnig in either direction when the powersteering fluid got to hot operating temps. the powersteering pump relief valve was acting up so we ordered a new pump.
