Well the ups man was kind enough to bring me a box with a set of these today :naughty:

Is it difficult to lower an sti? I heard that its not as easy as other cars. Ive lowered an s10, and an accord with the help of a friend. Also, where does everyone recommend getting an alignment? I hear/see grand turismo east alot, but heard they were pricey also.

Soooooooooo, who likes beer and pizza, and wants to help me with my spring install?

I've done it 4 times in the last year... 3 on my car and once on a friends.. My car has gone from stock springs to Pro-drive to RCE and my buddy went from stock to my old Pro-drives... Nothing about it is especially difficult, its just time consuming (taking the back seat out..etc). Last time I did it, it took about 4 hours with a lunch break. This was in a home garage with a sub-par tool set though. It'd be faster with a lift and/or power tools. Kinda a PITA getting the top nut off the strut/spring.. you have to use an allen wrench / socket wrench / vise grips combo... Also, have pb blaster or equivalent to help with the bolt removal. It seems as if an 800lb gorrila tightened all the bolts at the factory. Unless you get lucky or are really strong, you'll need a breaker bar...
If I'm free when you set this up, I'll be happy to lend a hand.. also my buddy(Shewb on here) has spring compressors if you need to use them....

i would highly recommend them. they may be a few more bucks than your average Joe's but they know exactly what they're doing and they are open to your input. i will be going there again for any tire mounting/alignment needs.

    +1 for GTE.

Springs can be done at an install day. Hardest part is getting the front strut/spring combo back together.

Shit. I can't make it on friday.

Sorry man. Though I'd probably be useless anyway.

Definitely use airtools if you can, makes a HUGE difference. Spring compressors are nice to have too, but some people do without.

GTE always takes good care of its customers. Another option is Jeff.
