Spring install question

    will I need a spring compressor to install lowering springs?

    yes, you can rent them at pepboys

    Yep, or you can borrow mine. You need them for the front, everyone claims you dont need them for the back. Its true, but I always felt far more comfortable with them on anyway.

    thanks, I won't need them until after Christmas cause I have to wait and open my gift then :( I always try and act surprised though.

    I have heard of someone changing their springs with a jack and a 2x4. I thought it was pretty crazy, not to mention dangerous. Make sure you go to Pep Boys, Advanced wouldn't let me rent them.

    NAPA also rents them free with a deposit.

    You can go without the compressor and try to shoot things when the spring pops off. Just don't shoot yourself. It might hurt a little.

    Springs are in, they look good. I will prob go to napa as there is one by my parent's house. I do all my work up there. Thanks for the info guys
