SPT heat shield?

    Does anyone know if the SPT heat shield would fit a 3" DP?

    I'm about to order a Helix 3" DP and was thinking of getting the SPT heatshield instead of cutting my factory. But wasn't sure if this is a factory replacement which may not clear the bigger DP.

    Any ideas?

    I thought the SPT heat shield was for the short ram intake, not over the turbo.

    Hacking a stock turbo shield is easy though

    Just cut the bottom of your stock one......I have the 4" turbo XS dp

    Spt also makes an exhaust heat shield. But I think on the website it says fitment is only 06-07. Could be wrong.

    Thanks guys.

    There are two SPT heat shields. One for the turbo and one for the intake. According to subarugenuineparts.com it fits 2004-2007 STi 2.5l turbo.

    I know it should be pretty easy, I'm just looking for a clean finish.
