oh yeah that was a fun time....

 

Did y'all get a ride in the GT2? Wow. Even though the owner went faster than I did, I'm not too unhappy with my 69.7-sec lap time with only 7 laps in a $200,000 car (I don't even think I could get a mortgage to cover that)

I was VERY happy not to get too out of shape in it. Actually it was an absolute dream to drive. FAR more friendly than I expected. What a joy... Much less sensitive to trail-brake tail-swinging antics than I expected, mild entry-understeer, and gorgeously progresive corner-exit power on oversteer. It did power-on oversteer so much more smoothly than I expected, it was fantastic... Well enough dreaming.

haha Scott we could see the grin on your face all the way standing on the sidelines.

The GT2 definately made my day but it was fun hanging out. Now I want to do one in the future

Just got done watching the first of the video. Dang Chang, you were flogging the dog while Javid was behind you. Great driving. Patrick showed a bit of his killer car contol flining around the car too. I'm about to watch Brian H's video, been looking forward to that. I'll hopefully have some low-res stuff available on-line tonight.

Negative ghost rider . I was following at a safe distance. We were pretty much dead even through most apex's and to track out which made chasing him pretty fun. I magin with fresh 070s I would have needed to lift before track out on occasion.

In any event he drove the snot out of that car. I would love to chase him (or try to) with equal mods / fresh rubber.

I'm just playing...after a ride in your car at Tally, I can attest that you're car is crazy-sick-o-fast. And Siegel says you drive like a champ. No worries. Maybe it was that new wide front end that was slowing you down.

 

Oh, no worries, I read it like you were just playin. I just wanted to stress that I was being safe.

Wide body: you may be on to something here. With out big meats those fenders are just crazyJDMriceyo!!. Odds are they are slowing me down.

I just ordered a new 53ft Pace enclosed car trailer. We can now take our cars to the track in style. I'll know more next week about the delivery date. Scott can tell you about some of the things we are planning. We're going to have a blast! BH
