When I was in Statesboro I joined a car club with my eclipse. I had the fastest car in the club (by a couple seconds in the 1/4) and everyone gave my a hard time for the stock apperance. It was all about body kits and neon lighting. I lost interest pretty fast in the car scene down there.

I was down there in 2001-2 range. The car club was Redline Racers or something like that. There were a few subtle cars but the core members were talking about starting a new club and taking all the "show" type cars. I think they liked the idea of having a sub-12 second car in the club but my car looked stock and I only washed it about four times in the year I owned it. I left Statesboro before too long so I don't know what came of the club.

I am the OP's brother, the one who helped put these meets together.

We have little to no rice at our meets, because when the rice does show up they usually doesn't get the best welcome.

The meets are on Tuesdays because it gives us something to do during the week. On the weekends most of the car people are partying, therefore they can't drive to the meets.

We had 30+ cars at the meet last week, and that was purely on word of mouth. Almost all of these cars have been modified strictly for performance.

This group of cars has nothing to do with big boostin' or any car club.

Here are some pictures me and my friends have taken at our meets.

I am the only subie at almost all of these meets. If any of you Savannah guys are interested head up here on Tuesday.
