lovely christmas present to realise before i have to go into work. bad grinding and burning when I turned the wheel to park at gas station...

...checked ps reservoir and it was below the cold min line. took off the intake plastic & filled it back up.

Looked underneath and its a mess everywhere.

    Where do I start?

Well did the pump fail or do you still have power steering?

Keep fluid on hand and keep it topped off until you can get under the car or on a lift.

    so, going under is better?

I can see its a fluid mess under there, but since I've filled the reservoir, I haven't seen the level change...

Don't let it ride too long, if it's a leaking line they are on the same side as the uppipe/turbo. If it's losing fluid there, the hot exhaust/turbo could ignite the fluid.
