i`m thinking about getting it installed on my 03 bugeye sedan, but i was wondering if a little piece like that really affect the car. also, would i need to purchase the brakets and etc from SOG or just buy the diffuser and find some bolts at home depot? someone told me it sounds like a whistle at low speeds when the air comes out of it..ionno

Doesn't do anything unless you do paneling for the entire undercar. You can buy the braces and brackets for $200 that cusco sells.

or you can buy $10 worth of bolts from HD and drill some holes in your spare tire well.

I can tell a difference with mine, but only on the highway (more stable). I have no whistles with mine (at least none that I can hear).

I would spend that money elsewhere first though, I only have one because a friend didn't want his anymore.

ped, can you describe the more 'stable' feeling you`re talking about? o btw, i found more wires burning through the trunk. kinda scary.

What he's describing, Id imagine, is that the rear of the car feels more planted on highway speeds (eg less floaty).

If you buy this, be sure to purchase the side panels as well. You will definately feel a difference!

^^ yup.... exactly. Can't wait to make some side panels to go with it.

I think they're fairly cheap from Subaru. If you see a rolled 05+, see if yuo can pick them up :)

Its underneath the car, you cannot see it from the side.
