If you get Chinese people to make it in a huge pot and stuff.

It smells like shit. It smells so bad, but apparently my parents love this shit. I can't believe how bad the smell is but people eat it regardless.

I still refuse to eat that because of the smell....

that link won't open for me

but it really depends what kind you get. Some are not too bad, some are pretty strong. If it's not fried, run like you stole something.

It's actually a Taiwanese dish not Chinese.

Depending on the sauce and how long it was fermented, this stuff can be REALLY bad, to the point of throwing up. Just eat it, don't smell and swallow quickly. If it has fermented for a long time it will taste pretty rotten. If it hasn't fermented for toooo long then it'll just taste like slightly sour tofu, not too bad. I like mine fried.

it was on that Andrew Zimmerman food show where he goes to different conutries and eats their food. He couldn't eat it they showed him gaging and dry heaving. Basicly its like rotten tofu. No thanks.

Oh, I need to get my hands on some of this stuff. Can anyone recommend a place on the southside to get some.
I run the games for our teen church and the kids love eating terrible stuff. This would be right up their alley...
