i'm thinking i want to make an easy way to remove my stock sti wing for nights at the strip for that little extra something i've took all the bolts out but it didnt want to come off(because of the adhesive i guess).. whats the best way to remove the wing and to get off the adhesive??
Try running dental floss or strong fishing line under the wing. It will only go in as far as the first bolt on each side but it may get you the release you need to start. From there just pull gently and be careful.
Do you expect faster times at the strip by removing the wing, or is it that you want the sleeper look?
little bit of both..my evo friend said he got 1 to 2 more mph's trap speed without his wing..im not wanting to permanently take it off..
Just take off the whole trunk. It will be easier and lighten your car. Just kidding. Are you competing with the car or just going to test/tune nights? 1 mph in the traps would not be worth the hassle for me.
