so there are 5 of us... the place belvnawd is staying at is $135/night... the place looks pretty cool to me and is big enough for all 5 of us to share... what do u guys think?
Milo, You guys will have to call and check it out as these are individual properties. There were several still available when I called though, all within a mile or so of the event site. Also, realize that there are several fees involved in the renting of the cabins. After we paid all the fees, it averaged out to $200 a night, with 5 people that is still only 40 bucks a person per night though. We did pay the hot tub fee which was like $45 or so....

Wow, I completely forgot about the Subaru Challenge and realized I don't have a hotel room yet. Anyone have an open slot or anything?
if you had posted earlier we might have been able to split a cabin, but there was only three people. i think snarkbreeder might still need a roomie, i guess you could send him a pm. as of monday this week there were still rooms available at the hotel for $89 a night.
I got an email from the subaru challenge yesterday and they made it sound like there are still rooms available.
Yeah, that's the email that reminded me of the thing. For some reason I was thinking it was later in October.
I'll be at the event also. We're incorporating it into a vacation so I'll have the whole family there (+ inlaws). I look forward to getting spanked by all you auto-x'rs...
