Well, it's summer again (although it's half way over). Last year we did some dinner meets on Thursday. Is anyone interested in starting these up again? I'm thinking Tues, Wed or Thurs. poll your favorite and we'll see where it goes from there (multiple votes allowed if you can do multiple days). Also submit ideas. I'd like to do the first one this week if possible so let me know if you're available. Also reply with an idea on what you'd want. Here's what I have so far: 1) Trivia at Sidelines (I don't knw if kali is still working there or not).... Tues @7pm 2) Sonny's BBQ all you can eat pulled pork for $7! 3) Williamson Bros, all you can eat BBQ for $8.50 4) Sidelines Sports Bar 5) Fellini's (I saw that it's every 3rd Thurs, why not make weekly for the summer?) Just some ideas. Post more if you want.
where in decatur are you? The taco mac there is pretty awesome, so it Melton's App and Tapp, and The Brick Store. All good (although Brick Store gets pricey)
It's a barbecue joint, they'll have all sorts of other stuff too. I'd rather have one large monthly dinner meet than a couple of small ones. Might be worth checking out something other than Fellinis since the last meet was very very small to say the least.
Fat Matt's is really good, but there isn't a lot of parking unless you know some secret parking lot or something

Where ever we pick, MAKE IT ON AN INTERSTATE! Fellini's is too far from the interstate. Good food and parking made it worth going to for awhile, but it could be soo much easier. 1) Pappasito's(75&285). Best tex-mex in Atlanta, plenty of parking, near an interstate. 2) Fuddruckers(Perimeter mall, 400/285). burgers, plenty of parking, near an interstate. 3) Varsity downtown. mix it up with the other meets... food sucks though. and Sonny's BBQ / Williamson Bros / Sidelines Sports Bar works too.
Williamson Bros and Sidelines are no farther than Fellinis ;-) but hey, let's make it next Thursday (7/6) at 7pm. If we're going for interstate and lots of parking, let's go with Williamson Bros in Alpharetta/Roswell! Good food, reasonably near the interstate and LOADS of parking.
mmmm. varsity eh.... well that's a problem. If people can make it tomorrow (6/30), I'm game. I just don't know if it's enough time. We'll shoot for the same time, 7pm? OK, I"m guessing this just isn't going to happen this week. Guess we'll all head to the Varsity next Thursday!
Pappasito and Fuddruckers are both good ideas (and close to the interstate for us directionally challenged folks). Tacomac is the bomb and there is one opening in that open mall at perimeter
HMMM what about a World Cup finals meet at the Taco mac on 400? The finals are next Sunday.... Takers?
And the top level of the parking deck is always pretty empty, so we could all park in one place and get some pictures possibly.
The final is Sunday July 9 at 2pm. There's other Taco Macs too if you think Perimeter will be crowded (mall and all). Like the on in Decatur is always good
