So I still have the "Altezza style" rear tail lights on my '11. I have been looking around for options and all of the overlays don't really look dark enough to go on the silver...so I have just left them for now. Then I came across this shop car from FastWRX.com. 10 coats of PPC candy red with a coat of clear done by a body shop. Looks a lot better on lighter colors due to the deeper red. So thanks to Photoshop... What mine looks like now. What it would look like if I went this route. Just trying to figure out now if I have the balls to do it myself or if I just need to pony up and have a shop do it to make sure it is done right...or if I want to do it at all.
PM Face. We did this to his 10 a while ago. It was really really easy, and came out looking so much better than stock. I don't think he did nearly 10 coats, maybe 4 or 5 if I remember correctly, and we did a Clear Coat ourselves over top of it when done.
