Swap everything from the bugeye into this coupe!
She's not perfect but a really good candidate for a swap.

It will have a 2.5l 18G fed by Maddad headers and Tial 44mm wg. Of course the 6mt dccd pro will come right on over. Should make for an insanely fast DD.

What FMIC's work with the coupe's?
I am not sure I want to go back with the Teiin Flex. What do you suggest?

nice find! and holy low mileage, batman! I'll more than likely take some parts off you (a lot actually)

that looks like it was a Northern car...

If you want good, (cheap) coilovers, go with the BC Racing. They are awesome.

and I'm almost positive there are "GC" specific front mounts

it was a northern car and as such has the slightest bubbling creeping up from the bumper attachment behind each rear wheel should be an easy fix. This morning I jacked her up and crawled front to back and not a bit of rush on the under body only surface crap on the stuff that is not needed. I was surprised just how rust free it is.

    EDIT:
It actually she found me.

those fog lamps are horrid...get rid of them asap. bugeye fogs will work just fine, if you have them. And they fit better.

lol was digging through a shit ton of receipts and evidently it has a kartboy shift kit or atleast the bushings. Also, has and confirmed KYB suspension and SPT springs...not sure if they are good hard to tell with the blizzaks and huge sidewall. Seems too soft anyways that can be fixed with another arrangement.

Funny I went inspecting for rust all up in from under and didnt notice it. haha what will I find next?

This looks like fun :) Do you really have to have coilovers? Frankly, they don't make sense to me on a daily car. Even going to the track, the cheaper coilovers feel no different than a highly quality spring/shock combination with solid sways. The cheapy coilovers won't have as good of valving and or rebound as the higher quality shocks.

Not really sure what FMICS will work.

its why my co's are in the fs thread. ;)
the KYB's could use some stiffening up, I will get with Matt and have him give me options.

    How is your roof liner?

Two kids with greasy hands have managed to ruin mine.

Koni inserts and maybe the SPT springs are better than you think with improved rubber?

    Nice find Rick!

Teins are horrible. I had them on my WRX (Milo's old one off his bugeye) and I HATED them. No suspension travel at all and if I took a corner hard I would lift the front tire and it would screw it all up. Then I went to the setup that I think Koko has now (RCE Blacks with Tokico DSpecs). Not only did it ride smoother and stop hurting my wifes bewbies, it turned in faster, crisper and better than ever. NO MO Tire lift at that time too.

So I would stress a GOOD QUALITY spring/strut combo over a coilover setup. Leave the coils for the bad boy coupe ;)
