Well its that time again, and my brakes are going nuts with the squeaking. I don't want to put a dent in my pocket and get the brembo pads, but I heard Hawks were pretty good. In addition, the Hawk pads put out less brake dust?.

I need to pick up some pads for a decent price? any suggestions?

I had some Hawk HPS pads before, and I hated them. They made the ABS kick in way too early and overall it felt like my brakes didn't want to stop. I'd go for at least HP+ if you're going hawk.

I like the HPS. They feel a lot better than the EBC's and stand up to the temp better also. I didn't have any brake fade at the doublex, which I was getting last time on the EBC's. The Carbotech's are a good brand also, but a little more expensive than the Hawks.

I have HP+'s on my Brembos and they BITE. I mean the car stops fast! They do squeak at low speeds but my exhaust is so loud I barely hear it...lol They do dust but that's a performance pad for you. All good performance pads dust.....dusting shouldn't even be an issue if you want a good pad.
