Alright guys i had 4 tires i need mounted and balanced so i called a few places to get prices. This is what i got for those of you who ever need this info. Kauffman - will only mount tires they sell and then its free. NTB - 10.99 a tire mount 15.99 a tire balance Walmart - 3.50 a tire mount 7.50 a tire balance so walmart definatly takes the cake at around 45 bucks for all 4 tires. versus kauffmans gayness and NTB's 107 and some change.
i had my tires installed at kauffman... and i had provided the tires i first went to the walmart across from genya's house... after leaving it there for 2 hours, when i returned to pick it up, they said they couldn't do it cuz they don't have the tools to mount 'rubber band' tires
So did I, that franchise must suck. Kauffman is the best deal. Big Ten charged me 20 bucks the other day to take a tire off and put it on my new wheel...got ripped.
well i ended up going to walmart yesterday they charged me 60 bucks for mount and balance. They didnt know what low pros were though.....they sent like 3 or 4 techs to look at my wheels nad tires and were like i dunno if we can do it. Then one guy was like ill get er done haha.....well they did it in about an hr. so who knows.
I just tried calling them, they said they would remove my tires off the OEM rim, mount and balance on new for $12/tire. Also, what's a decent price for a set of 02-04 used WRX rims?
I got mine done at discount tire it was $60 for all four tires mount and balance but they do take extreme care not to scratch you wheel
Im an asst. mgr. dtc.. trust me just like everything you get what you pay for! With Discout Tire we mount and balance anything and "if" we scratch a wheel we pay for it. I work at Steve Reynolds now and if you need your tires mounted and balanced see me for $48
