turbo choices...

    so i want more power...300ish give or take 5%. having kaia's fozzy whoop me everywhere is getting old.

    i dont really wanna go too far past that in fear of catastophic failures that'll force me to rebuild or swap engines prematurely.

    e316g?
    18g?
    hta68?

    i really like the price and the headroom of the hta68 but i don't think i'd be using to anywhere near its potential so its would almost seem to be a waste of a 47lb turbo.

    so thoughts on a 2.0?

    I personally like the EVO3. Spools faster than the hta68, but doesn't have the same topend. But then how often are you at redline lol

    Vf-39 for $350. 06+ WRX, FXT, 07+ STi Injectors for $199, 280+ whp on an STi TMIC, or 300 on a FMIC...

    hta68....YOu would amazed how fast you get bored with power. At least this way, you wouldn't have to upgrade your turbo to get more power:)

    Ebay TMIC = fail
    STi TMIC is better than ebay, but any BRAND name TMIC is even better - TXS, Hyperflow, Perrin, APS, Spearco etc. I've got an STi TMIC for sale for $350 or a Hyperflow that was meant for my car but won't fit the GC for $450.

    And IWG is fine on the 2.0 with a bellmouth catted DP, or you can just port the iwg...

    Spearco is fairly difficult to find isnt it? Also one of the biggest, if not the largest capacity core of all of them IIRC?
