Year of car, model, mileage, mods would help

my best guess with the info given would be ignition misfire. 4k is near the boost building and high ignition load. i've had this problem b4 and a fresh set of plugs knocked it out.

I had the exact same problem when I had a bad/broken plug. My guess would be it is either a bad plug or a bad coil pack.

You can get the NGK plugs at Advance Auto Parts

    try www.fredbeansparts.com

They always have cheap prices on parts and great service.

EDIT : They have the ignition coils for $71.99 each.

Got to Advance and pickup four NGK Platnium plugs for about $40 and you will be good to go

A little off topic but what did you put to the wheels after your tune?
