so basically this is my situation.

    - I want UP
    - I don't have money to get it installed at SoG ($~300)
    - I want UP

    :)

So I'm thinking about doing it myself but instructions and other materials tells me that this is slightly harder than DP. And I don't have the tools to do it.

Is anyone willing install it for me in exchange for a case of beer and a dinner at fellinis ? haha

If you guys want to come up to my house, I'll be more than glad to help you out with both installs.

The Up isn't too hard, you just have to make sure you torque everything down the correct way so you don't end up with any leaks.

Oh the case of beer sounds good too. ;)

I'm going to give Ped the :bigthumb: for an UP install. We did mine almost 2 months ago I guess and it went pretty well. The worst part is figuring how to twist it to get it in and out, but a second set of hands sure helps. I will try and make it.

PED or PDE? Coincidence? I think not.

I had the most trouble just getting the stocker out. My aftermarket UP went right in.

So jyang, is June 2nd okay with you?

I've had a gutted up I bought from Alex over a year ago that I still haven't installed. My excuse is that I was waiting for a downpipe, but I don't know when that's ever going to happen...

I may just have to visit a certain someone witha case as well.

after I installed my UP i though, "why was everyone making such a big deal about this install?" Then after the Steering rack bushings I knew the hype was over blown.

It's not like you're rebuilding an engine. The UP is no big deal

Yea, I guess the part that made it a long day for us was when we tried to pull the rear stock O2 sensor and it was cross theraded when installing the turboback exhaust. We had to take a 3-4 hour excursion to SOG just to find one...

I'll have a couple useful UP tools... torque wrench and an o2 sensor wrench socket
