Used Cobb AP

    If i were to find a used cobb ap on ebay or somethin would it be ok to buy? what could the pros and cons possiby be?

    make sure its unmarried otherwise its uselses for any car other than the one it came off of

    if its unmarried, make sure to add the fee thats going to take cobb to make it work. If its the version 1, make sure to get the correct one specific to the year of your car. V2s, make sure to get the unit that falls in the correct category which includes your car.

    yea... i bought a cobb ap on ebay and the guy sold his car but forgot to unmarry it. eventually i got him to pay for the fee to unmarry it *$300*
    just be careful

    im talking to someone about trading my xbox and a couple games for a used ap. hopefully its un married. should i hook it up when i meet up with him to make sure? and it already has a protune by scott on it. what can i do with that? i think the kid said its for a dp,up pipe, and catback. but i only have a catback and a aps cold air.

    I wouldn't use any protune on your car that was tuned for another car.

    Make sure you check out the selling history if you buy off eBay!
