I have several cans of these and have used them before with freat results in other cars. I would like to use it on my EJ20 I normally pour 1/3 into 1/2 tank of gas, 1/3 into oil and the 1/3 inhaled into the intake manifold. Which inlet / hose i use to let it inhale the seafoam Does anyone have a picture of the Fuel regulator. I would like to check to make sure my vac hoses are on well
I agree it should not need it Carbon build up every time u\you drive the car Im not saying i need it - i just want to see if it makes a diff to my very slight tickin concern We wash our cars even know we know its clean We replace our oils knowing it still have some life. We do a lot of things sometimes just for curiosity or just to make us smile once again
we'll put! Just know that there really won't be much buildup though. Have you tried marvel Mystery oil, it's the same stuff and works great.
Similar, not the same. Don't have the link handy but somebody analyzed the contents and they do differ. Also, rumor has it Subaru Upper Engine cleaner is pretty much the same as Seafoam. Not sure if that's true or not.
Probably depends on who you ask. Seafoam is definitely gaining popularity lately, and I will try it in the Merk since it's got 120k+ miles.
So i've been doing some research on this seafoam stuff. Seems that it might unclog some of the carbon that is helping to seal some of the leaks. It might cause more problems on a high mileage vehicle.
My now deceased grandfather used to put Marvel Mystery Oil in his airplane. That amazed me. I knew he put the stuff in his cars and lawn mowers and such, but hearing about him putting that in a Cessna suprised me.
